My laptop is defective company replied on my e mail address given below : -
We understand your concern towards your Sony VAIO. The case has been discussed with the management. Considering you as our valued customer we offered you the below options:
1. Exchange of your model no. VPCEG28FN/L IN5 with current featured equivalent model no. SVF15318SNW IN5 (MRP is Rs. 48,990/-) free of cost as same model is running out of stock as of now.
2. Exchange of your model no. VPCEG28FN/L IN5 with any VAIO from our current line-up by paying MRP difference of the offered model SVF15318SNW IN5 (MRP is Rs. 48,990/-) and the model selected by you.
3. Refund of 60% of product purchase value
Query - Faulty laptop is 14 inch,Company is giving free of cost 15 inch laptop instead of 14 inch laptop faulty laptop, company is saying that there is no stock of 14 inch laptop. I said it is available in dealer shop and internet, but area manager said we are not dealer we are from service , we have no stock, 15 inch bulky laptop is not convenient for students and field workers ? What should I do at this stage ? They are also saying for difference amount if I chose 14 inch higher next available model

Take an undertaking from the company that they would change the 14 inch with a new 14 inch whenever it becomes available. Not advisable to follow a consumer case.
