Legal Question in Consumer Law in India

I had an MTS Broadband Postpaid connection , I was using it till they were providing me speed on which we agreed upon . But later on they were not providing me desired speed which was in our contract. First of all i made complain to them. One of their representative came to home and check feasibility of internet connection and assured me to solve this. Later on i did not receive any call or visit from their side and did not provide the solution . After two or three days i stopped using their services and did not start the net at all. But they keep continue to make bill for three month . They were calling me to pay the bill.

I Didnot paid bill for those three month . Now they have given me legal notice to pay. Please suggest me whether i will be able in position to fight with them in court or should i surrender my self and pay the dues.
