Legal Question in Consumer Law in India
I placed order for interior woodwork in kitchen and bedrooms with an interior person. The order was confirmed almost six months back and I have paid about 75% of the amount. He has been holding the key for more than 2 months and has still not completed the work. He does not answer my calls and does not reply to mails. Visits to his showroom in person has also not yielded any better results. Is any legal action possible against him? We are losing on the rental due to his delay.

You should lodge a Police complaint against the interior decorator for immediate redressal of your concern.
