Legal Question in Consumer Law in India
I have paid a sum of Rs.100,000/- as advance booking for a SUV, but some advice from adviser said the EMI will be very big on pocket, so i decided to cancel the process. The cheque was cleared on Friday (28/06/2013) & I had asked him to stop the process by Monday (01/07/2013). I have not submitted all the required documents for loan approval. Now the representative is saying that they will deduct Rs.15,000/- as cancellation charges. Pls advice.

Dear Sir / Madam,
If the car loan company has processed your loan papers for purchase of the SUV, the Company is entitled to deduct processing fees and refund you Rs. 85,000/- for cancellation due to non submission of documents.
Regards,
you can demand full refund but better to come with all documents or consult any local lawyer.
Regards
