Legal Question in Consumer Law in India
I had paid 95% of total amount for a flat in jaipur in feb 2012 as the marketing professionals at their site office had promised us for the possession in april, 2014. It had been 2years since and there is no hint of possession, what should be done to get for compensation.

Dear Brij,
You have two choices : Either you can ask the Developers to pay you the prevailing market price of a similar flat in the vicinity and rid yourself of the problem, else you can file a case against the Developers for monetary compensation for delay in handing over possession of the flat with the Consumer Court.
