Sir, How usful keeping a name kof the 2nd person as s associate member in share certificate. If at the time of sale a flat does the conset of asskociate member required and his signature is must ( Pro and cons )

The name of the second person in the share certificate entitles him/her as the co-owner of the flat alongwith you.In this case his/her signatures are must for legal sale.
