Legal Question in Consumer Law in India
I am a tenent. In the agreement it is mentioned if I vacate house before 11 month, two month rent will be deducted from deposit ( 1 month for painting charges and 1 month because I am vacating before 11 months). Currently we are facing water issue. We get water for 6 hrs a day and even that is not provided at fix timing, hence we are facing problem in storing the water.
We haven't completed 11 months. Can we vacate the house without any deduction from deposit? And is giving 1 month prior notice compulsory (its mentioned in agreement) ?

The agreement might be providing the clause of termination so act accordingly. It is out of imagination that any body can live without basic amenities. Serve a legal notice to landlord and if required terminate the lease agreement.
