Legal Question in Consumer Law in India

While travelling through train,in night,a thief came inside my bogie and took away with my bag carrying cash,gold ornaments,mobile phone etc.,I lodged FIR with GRP.

Now I want to sue Indian railways for the negligence.and I want compensation.

Kindly advise me the course of action.

Dear client first send legal notice through lawyer to railway and ask compensation. If railway not pay compensation then file case in consumer court for deficiency in service. For any legal help call me on 9604349028 or 8446247807

NOPE U CANNOT FILE CASE UNDER CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT BE WHILE CARRYING ALL VALUABLES U HAVE NOT DISCLOSED THE SAME TO RAILWAYS SEEKING PROTECTION SO WHERE IS NEGLIGENCE .
