Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in
Someone borrowed 5 lacs & gave a cheque as surety,is there any law to recover money or punish him if he defaults?

if he defaults you have two options - one to file criminal complaint for dishonour after sending him a notice. second is to file civil suit - summary, for recoery of the amount.
