Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India

actually my case is that the card was made at my permanent address but later i intimated the bank for change of address as i shifted from delhi to faridabad but due to unavoidable reasons i could not continue for long with the job and at that time i had one Personal loan also going with the bank which i cleared with the penalities. but unfortunately i could not repay credit card payments moreover these things which i am stating are of 2003 year, later i switched from faridabad to delhi at new home ,job and number. in these so many years nobody followed with me but now i received the call from sanjeev sstating to be from bank to settle the money owed to bank.

please guide me can they still recover the amount principal is approx 22000/- but they claim amount for more than 2 lacs..regards

No they cant recover, next time call the PCR at 100 and complain against the caller. You may drop in a detailed query at [email protected]
