Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India
I have given cheque to a party as security because he had given me funds to use cash ..but he has taken the money return by me in cash then also he have filled cased against me.. and online i have seen the status the case is in verification mode what should i do now ?

Dear Sir / Madam,
When you returned back the money in cash to your friend, you ought to have taken your security cheque back from him. You should ask your friend the reason for him having filed a legal case, and should the reason be that you have not repaid and settled the entire amount owed by you to your friend, you should amicable settle your friend and take back your cheque from him. If your friend refuses to return back your cheque, you may give "stop payment" instructions of the cheque to your Bank.
