Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India

Dear Concern

my known has send me notice that he has paid me some amount in the presence of some people...but all the story are fake.

now he is messaging me that if i will not pay the amount he will register a FIR against me..

Please need your advice ...

1.shall i ignore this notice?

2.what is time limit to answer the notice?

3.If i will not answer this notice what will happen??

4.It can be police case or not??

Dear Sir / Madam,

You should lodge an FIR against the other person who claims to have given you money and let the Police investigate and settle the matter once and for all.
