Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in
My father has agreed down for a settlement with HDFC Credit Card. We have spent more than 1.5 lakhs for my granny's surgery a few months ago and are totally out of sources for money. I have also produced the hospital bills to the bank. They are ready for 17000 settlement for 90000rs outstanding. Yet this amount is too high for me to pay. Can i negotiate for less ??

It is up to the bank. but, deposit or pay the money only to an authorised person in the bank ensuring full and final settlement
