Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India
My fianc� had a debt received by many persons ....total debt was 15 lakh ....we anyhow managed to pay 12 laks n v cleared 12 lakhs.....3 lakh was remaining ....all this happened last year....my fianc� requested not to pose any interest on these 3 lakhs n he said he vl giv this 3 lakh within a year....n nw wen he went to pay 3 lakh they r threatening him to pay 15 lakh n wen he questioned they r telling it's the interest + debt....what help can v get from law ?? Plz help

Dear Madam,
Your fiance has to seek Police intervention as witness to amicably resolve the matter. Legal action may follow, if the matter remains unresolved and unsettled at the Police level, which is highly unlikely. Repost query should there be no Police action within 7 days of lodging the Police complaint.
