Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India
my friend decieved me, i told him to get me admitted in a college of bangalore because i was not much educated about colleges in bangalore and wanted to join the college for MBA for which i only had 47 percent in grafuation, so he told me, it takes a sum of rupees 3 lakhs to get admission in that particular college, under some university which takes the students who have less than 50 percent marks in graduation, and the admission was without the tution fees, so i totally transfered him 426000 rupees to get me admitted in that college, 3 lakhs for admission and 1.26 lakhs for tution fees, after i got admitted in the college, my admission was cancelled because our university closed down, college refunded our tution money and then i got to know that there was no admission money to be paid there, we only had to pay admission fees, so can i file case of theft by deception against my friend, or wht should i do, is there any other option? How many chances are there to file a case, and in how many hearing this case will settle down?

Dear Sir / Madam,
You should ask your friend to immediately return your monies failing which you will report the matter to the Police. When your friend is summoned to the Police station, he will immediately agree to repay your monies.
Regards,
In my opinion this is a Civil Matter and police cannot do anything.
Do you have anything in writing from your friend, as to what you are saying? If no, then how are you going to prove, what you have stated is correct?
Think rationally before you initiate any action, and throw more good money, after bad money.
