Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India

Hello,

I am from Bhopal, India. I have applied for a home loan and they said that one law suit had filed against me by credit card from 2006-2008. I am remembered that I had ABN Ambro bank credit card during that time and did not pay the bill due to not receive bill on time. Later on I have settled the amount with or mutual consent with bank.

My question is, why this law suit is still showing on my credit report and how I can clear this, as I have paid the amount during that period. I have no proof at this time as this incident happens 6 years back. How this matter can be resolved so I will not have trouble in future.

apprise them of the facts and show them the documentary proof if any. tell them that you have received no notice from any court regarding any law suit. You may drop in a detailed query at [email protected]
