Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in

a judgement was filed/amended in 1996

A judgement was filed for a person to pay a large debt. to our company. No money has been collected becasue the individual put all of his assets and money in family members name. We have found out that the person now have the funds; this information was obtained through a collection agency. This was a large amount $65000.00 can we collect now.

Maybe. That is the best answer you can get, since we have no idea if the judgement is valid, whether the money is still there, or many other questions. Since you do apparently do not know how to proceed, hire a lawyer experienced in collections as soon as possible - perhaps a lawyer in the area in which the person lives.
