Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Guyana

if I lend money to someone and they did not pay me back on the arranged date, what's the time spand that I can take court action, almost a year has passed .

Dear Sir / Madam,

Initiating recovery action within 3 (three) months from the arranged date is advisable and recommended. Period of limitation is 3 (three) years from the date of debt.
