can i make a complain under section 420 of ipc, if a proprietor or partner or director purchased goods and committed for payment within a stipulated date and not paid in stipulated date as mentioned in the bill or invoice? where can i lodge the complain?

Dear Sir / Madam,

Yes, if it is a Registered Partnership Firm, you can lodge a complaint against the erring Partner to the Registrar of Partnership Firms or if it is a Limited Company, you can lodge a complaint to the Registrar of Companies against the erring Director.
