Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India

I had taken a Postpaid Hutch connection and before the take over the same had been converted to Prepaid. I have received an online E-bill from vodafone asking for payment of the same. Am i safeguarded by statute of limitations? my surrender/convertion was before Hutch had been taken over by Vodafone (2007).

No, you are not safeguarded by statute of limitation and remain liable to settle the bill raised by Vodafone.
