Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India

Sir i was given some amount to friend for borrow,but he was failed to return the money,i was not taken any shurity from him,but conservation done between us in mobile sms,i was saved the messeges,please tell me can i expect any legal support?

Dear Sir / Madam,

If your friend fails to return back the money you lent him, and if your money is more dear to you than your friend, the only feasible way to recover your money is to file an FIR in the local Police station and seek Police intervention to immediately resolve and settle the matter.
