Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India

Sir. I want to explain you clearly. My friend him self asked me to go to Indore with him to the agency as I have been there before. After we were in indore, he has spoke with the agency. N he was accepted to pay. He returned back to home but I stayed in Indore only. So he said I will deposit money to your account. You give to agency. I did as he asked.now agency only returned half of the money which 20,000. The remaining 20,000 they are saying to wait 2, 3 days to return. But my friend not listening.in fact he is not asking them. He is only asking me.I was just in the middle. Can he now take legal action against me? Or can he take action against the agency only?

Dear Sir / Madam,

You introduced the agency to your friend and you paid the money to the agency. Your friend paid you the money and not the agency. So, you have to follow up and pursue the agency to repay the entire money back to you which you should pay back to your friend.
