Sir, Iam paying housing loan EMI's , now 2 months are pending, banker not providing me IT certificate for returns submitting, kindly give some advice how to proceed

Dear Sir / Madam,

The Bank is responsible and liable to provide you with the Income Tax (IT) Certificate. The Bank cannot take recourse that since your two housing loan EMI's are pending, they have the right to withhold your Income Tax Certificate. You should write to the Head Office of the Bank stating the high-handedness of the Branch Manager to issue the IT Certificate.
