Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India

Hi sir,

My mother has taken a credit card from icici bank in 2003 and repaid it till 2009 , However she could not pay back the debt after my father dismiss and shut down in the business and due to health constaints and now the debt collection agency are chasing me and my mother for the debt which was take years ago. can you please advice me what sould i be doing as my mother is a patient and also i cannot afford the payment , should i file a petision for insolvency for my mother? As she does not have any source of income as she is a dependent for me .

Kindly need your advice

Dear Sir / Madam,

You should pay off and settle your mother's credit card dues and discontinue usage of credit cards.
