How to get stay on execution warrant? I have no property to pay the amount. I have already paid to the party but he has shown my security checks and my file is sold by lawyer to the decree. Can I be imprisoned? How do i get saved here?

Dear Sir / Madam,

You need to apply to the Court for obtaining a stay on the execution warrant. Produce evidence of payment to the party in the Court, and establish that despite settling the party's dues, the party has deposited your security cheques for clearing in the Bank. You will first be tried, so please ensure that you remain present in person in the Court for all hearings.
