Legal Question in Criminal Law in

There was a 498A case against me and my parents. She agreed to withdraw against my parents and they duly appeared in court and the judge set them free.

Now she wants to withdraw against me ; there is an NBW against me.

I do not wish to go to court.

She is willing to do what is required.

What steps to be taken ?

The case is in Jharkhand.

498a case can not withdraw as the same needs to be quashed by the high court as it is a non compoundable offence. at present, you may move an application for cancellation of NBWs and seek permission from the court for time to file petition for quashing.
