Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
an accident took place in 2009 by a lorry and a car. there were casualities.
the accident was caused by the driver.
but owner of the lorry is charged as accused 2
now the trail is going on in the court.
whether the assets in the name of spouse of the owner is chargeable under law.
the assets came to the spouse possession by a settlement deed after the charge sheet

The assets acquired if not related to the incident cannot have any charge to set off.
