I have been accused of assault with deadly weapon , I have no charges to the offence accused of but I have to appear in court ? what is a court summary ? why does it need to be taken to court if I have not commited a crime or a offence what can I do do I need a lawyer when I go to court

I think that you should immediately see a lawyer, even if you don't want or cant afford to have a lawyer represent you. There are many firms that offer a free first appointment. Look for firms that specialise in criminal law.

I really do believe that you are best off getting face to face for this type of case because the whole of the relevant law and your options should be explained to you.
