Legal Question in Criminal Law in

On basis of a private complaint magistrate has passed order u/s 156(3) of crpc to investgate and report against four commitee members of our society. PSI now says that as per order Ihave to first make your arrest as per order. Is this process correct?

Police cannot arrest anyone . The police is only directed by the court to investigate and file the report of investigation before the court.
