Legal Question in Criminal Law in
my brother has blamed me in writing to my department that i has kept my father under detention in my sevice quarter.my father is with me as he wish to stay with me.
can i file defamation suit.kindly suggest.

defamation is not complete. for that, there has to have an adverse impact on reputation with the false averments.
