Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
My brother is a jewels maker. few years back, his friend introduced another one and asked him to sale some ornaments of him for family urgency. He helped him. Now, the police arrested him stating he is thief and lodged complaint 380 IPC against him. police enquired my brother and asked him to give gold as recovery for this case. He didn't accept it. But they forced him. My brother also given 20 savouring to police by believing their words. But now, police called him for enquiry and arrested him in the police station. But when we enquired at court by lawyer they said NBW has been issued against him for absconded and 5 cases filed against him us IPC 411. But he was very much available in the address. he has remanded in jail now. Our lawyer said, bail can be applied and it take 45 -60 days to take him out. Please advise. What to do now.
