Legal Question in Criminal Law in Canada
My business had a fire and it was determined that it was arson. Now I was at home at the time with my 14 year old daughter but the police want me to take a polygraph I was wondering if I should. I had nothing to do with this fire, so why do they want me to take this polygraph and should I take it?

Polygraphs are not normally admissible in court. A criminal lawyer's standard advice would be to just say "no." That is not necessarily to say you should always refuse, but you need to be talking to a criminal lawyer in any event.
