Legal Question in Criminal Law in United States
I got caught shoplifting. I went to my court date and got on probation. I just recently paid off my ticket, I have not had any more run-ins with the law nor did I have any run-ins before. Is there still a possibility I could still go to jail

This is an area where the law varies from one state to the next. Your question doesn't say what state this happened in, and is posted under "United States". Please re-post it under the particular state where this happened. More lawyers with the relevant experience will see it that way, and future users from your state with similar questions will be better able to find it.
Good luck.
