Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
Two cheques of my wife has misplaced and given the intruction to bank for stop payment of those cheques in sep 2014. recently i received a legal notice for misplaced two cheques of Rs.20 lacs each. Drawee of the cheque was my companies sales commission agent during 2013 and 2014. Now he claiming Rs.20 lac each for two cheques. what is solution for this?

Your wife / You lossed the cheque to the hand of drawee??
It can not be established in court of law.
