My dad passed away in accident.the guy who did the accident is very powerfull and rich so is my dad but that person has never given us a compensation,how much money can we claim for,meanwhile the persons car insurance also has been lapsed when he did the accident its been since one year my adovocate has been dealing with the case
what are the questions i need to ask my advocate ...

As per the multiplier method as enumerated in the Lata Wadhwa case, you may claim damages to the tune of his net earning per annum multiplied by his balance life span. If there is a history of longivity in your family, then you may claim upto the age of 75 years.
