Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
An FIR was filed against me in June, 2012. Offense was that I wrote an e-mail to finance ministry in which I wrote "I shall kill you". Actually, I suffer from schizophrenia and I wrote that e-mail out of illusion. The police didn't find any weapon or any other thing from me which displays any action to implement those cursed words. They were just words written out of illusion. Afterwards, police or court hasn't contacted me at all so far. No form of oral or written communication. Now, I have got a job. The company will do background verification. Will it affect my employability ? Will I be terminated from my job considering that there is no communication from either police or court ? How long this case may go on ?

If it is established that you suffer from "schizophrenia", you may not be allowed to stay in job.
