Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
My friend was advising his cousin on financial matters. The cousin made fun of my friend by commenting that his marriage fell apart because he lacks patience while explaining concepts and started laughing.
Can the cousin be prosecuted under Sec 323, voluntarily causing hurt for mocking my friend?

Yes can be prosecuted. For conviction, your friend must prove the causing of hurt beyond reasonable doubt before court, by showing all the evidence in that regard.
