Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

I have a girlfriend whom i purposed first and i asked her to marry me too in the future. But as the day passes by, we started fighting often and things didn't go well between us. Now I do not want to be with her. I told her this relationship will not workout and she started threatning me that she will harm herself and she will suicide. Her parents know about our relationship but my parents don't know as I dont want to tell them about this not working relationship. Her mother is encouraging in a way saying me that save my daughter, talk to her or else she will die. Its about a year in our relationship, and since 8 - 9 months I am convincing her and her family to leave me alone and move on. I am in a lot of stress and depressed. Please help me.

THREAT TO COMMIT SUICIDE IS UNACCEPTABLE. PL INFORM THE POLICE ABOUT IT AND ALSO HER PARENTS. sHE NEEDS TO BE TREATED FOR DEPRESSION. tJIS KIND OF BLACKMAIL CANNOT BE A GROUND FOR MARRIAGE. eVEN IF YOU GET MARRIED UNDER PRESSURE YOUR LIFE WOULD BE MISERABLE FOR SHE WILL USE THIS THREAT TO GET HER OWN WAY.
