Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

Hello!I(Z)have been charged in extortion case by someone(X) along with a girl(Y).

X claims that he had extra marital affairs with the Y and in due course of time Y started blackmailing X in regard to the relationship.

I was also being involved with Y in extra marital relationship.

Now the X have lodged the FIR stating the case of extortion against Y and Z.

So, please let me know how I(Z) can come out of the case,as I(Z) am nowhere being involved in extortion other than being in relationship with the Y.

The question is too general or incomplete for one to express an opinion.

One would need to look at the FIR and go through the documents to see how the role of (Z) has been described in the FIR and/or the statement of witnesses, if any, recorded so far.
