can high court give arrest stay during F.I.R. Quashing ? F.I.R date is 21.02.2014 and no any arrest and not file any charge sheet that's means Starting stage of F.I.R. and i approach high court for quashing the F.I.R and after initial hearing/arguments high court satisfied our petition and high court notice to state of Punjab and respondent for reply and notice regarding stay , my question is can i apply arrest stay during quashing the F.I.R ? high court say i will consider stay proceeding after reply the state and next date is 9.04.2014 , but in between if police arrest me ? so can high court give arrest stay during quashing the petition ? can i apply ?
