can high court quash fir under ipc 331/326 both parties are agree to compromise, the case is 3 year old and under trial in session court

Supreme Court, very recently in august 2010 has asked the union government to consider if 326 ipc could be made compoundable. At this stage even if both the parties agree, it may not be possible to quash FIR
