Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
Hi,
I gave 4 cheques to my friend. He is threatening to deposit the cheques in 1 week of time. But due to negative balance, the account is closed by bank. If he deposits cheque, what would be the consequence ?

you did a mistake by giving him cheques without having balance. he may sue you under Negotiable instruments act.
