Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

Im running a transport company and owning fleets. I have insured all my fleets and driving it with the competent drivers.
I'm assuming a situation that truck meet with an accident and a third party life is at risk or lost his/her life. What would be the situation of the truck owner and the driver? As a truck owner will i be liable for the accident and any police action will be on me? or will there be any police or court action on the driver? Pls clarify what should i do in such situation

1) The actions of driver are liable to the owner also.
2) The driver has to face more serious criminal charges.
3) The owner is also liable for vicarious liability.
