My wife filed 498a and 3 and 4 dp act on 23/5/2016. fir filed but charge sheet not filed . In this case how long will it take to file charge sheet and how to cancel fir before filing charge sheet plz help.

1) When the Police will file charge-sheet cant be said.
2) If inordinate delayed, then quash petition can be filed.
