Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
My house was raided by the police (reason: a friend was running his "bookie" business from my home).
He was taking bets on IPL cricket matches using 9 cell phones.
As, I was present in the house while the raid happened, I was caught too as a suspect.
The police took all the cellphones (15 cellphones) from the house from which 6 were mine. (3 broken phones and 3 working cellphone). The police also took 2 TV, 2 Computer set, 1 laptop and lot of personal household stuffs.
The next day we got bail from the court and now we are waiting for the next date.
Now As I know that the Investigation officer was too much interested in my cellphone (it was a costly cellphone), I suspect that I will never get all my items back.
Please tell me if there is any possible way to get those items back from police.
