Legal Question in Criminal Law in Australia
Is it illegal to bet with friends? For example a money bet or could someone bet something other than money like possessions. Is that legal?

Yes unfortunately it is illegal under the Unlawful Gambling Act 1998 (NSW). Section 8 of that Act talks about �Unlawful Betting� and section 12 is about �Organising Unlawful Game�.
