Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
I had issued a post dated cheque to my ex lawyer in April/2014 for his commission in an recently closed case from an account which I don't use anymore that is why I made payment through net banking last month. Now the lawyer is denying the NEFT and presented that cheque to bank which obviously got bounced. He has issued demand notice under U/s 138 NI Act against false statement that I had taken personal loan from him which is not true. what should I do now?
