Hi let me jus first explain the situation to you my friend x is under police custody and the case againt him is filed by his friend y stating that he cheated her by giving false promise of marriage and she is pregnant but my friend says they were good friends and she trapped him sexually and got pregnant. His marriage was fixed but because of this the marriage is cancelled and there is a chance of filing a case by his fiance Z on cheating her and hiding about the situation
How can i help my Friend X plz advice required urgently kinldy let me knw what are the punishments and penalties that court can punish my friend X. Would my friend get bail.

Whether your friend will get bail or not will depend on the investigation and reports filed in Court. Also the punishments and penalties will depend on the sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) invoked.
The date of conception, the date of engagement will be relevant for an opinion.
