Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
Hello Lawyers out there !!
I have a question about 498 a. In 2011 i filed this case on my ex husband and his family. In 2013 i also got divorced, Now my question is that is there any way to close or finish this case as i dont want to carry on this case as i am pretty well settled now.So I want to leave that trauma. But my ex husband and his family is lingering this case on , they are not finishing it... I have given no statements yet in the court ... dates r being put since 3 years. Already I am being harassed by my ex husband.
What is the procedure to close this case and also tell me if i give statement then do I have to go to court on every next date ??
Please answer as I have no time and energy left for fighting of the case.
