Legal Question in Criminal Law in
My live in partner filed a false 498A for which I was arrested and spent 28 days in judicial custody now she is threatening me to accept that we were married and says if I deny i'll be jailed again. Is this true? I stay in Howrah (West Bengal)

in fact 498A did not apply in your case. be it may IPC or DV Act it does not apply to Live in relationship. there is a latest judgment of supreme court. you must consult a lawyer and seek professional advice
